In Andalusia You will find a wide and modern communications network. One can approach Andalusia via air, land and sea, which allow all kinds of links, fast and easy with other continents and countries as well as with the rest of Spain.
Andalusia from the air
There are six airports in the Andalusian provinces, offering domestic and international flights.
Andalusia through the roads
The highways network is the basic milestone for communications within Andalusia and with the rest of the regions and Portugal. Being all of them toll-free, except the A-4 (Seville-Cadiz) and the Costa del Sol A-7. One can access Andalusia from the East through the N-630 Road coming from Extremadura. If coming from the North, the most appropriate access are the N-432 and N-420 Roads and the A-4 Highway, which connects Madrid with Cadiz. If one approaches Andalusia from the Northeast, the N-322 can be used, which comes from Castilla- La Mancha, and, if coming from the East, the A-92 and N-340, which links Almeria and Murcia.
Once inside Andalusia, the A-92 Highway crosses Andalusia from East to West and carries on to the Portuguese border through the A-49, whereas, from North to South, the N-IV and the toll Highway (Seville-Cadiz) are the basic connections. Also from North to South the N-323 Highway connects Jaen and Granada. But if one has to travel through the coast, the A-7 can be used, which goes from Almeria to Algeciras (Cadiz) passing through a stretch of the tolled Costa del Sol Highway.

Thanks to RENFE company and its railway network, Andalusia has all its capitals connected with the rest of Spain, as well as being connected within its territory. The highlight in this sense is the high-speed AVE train, which connects Madrid with Seville, via Cordoba, in less than two hours and a half.
Andalusia from the Sea
In the other hand, We can access the region from North Africa (Melilla, Ceuta, Tanger) through regular sea-lines to the main harbors (Almeria, Malaga, Algeciras) and to the Canary Islands from Cadiz.
